Disney and Marvel may stop filming in Georgia if the state enacts its new restrictive abortion law. Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Bob Iger said on Wednesday that it would be 'very difficult' for the media company to keep filming in Georgia if the law takes effect because many people will not want to work in the state. It would be a blow to the state's efforts to create production jobs if the entertainment giant stopped filming there.

Or Cronkite. Little difference with Duranty.
He did not state Disney would boycott but they would not be able to film in GA because the talent would boycott.
No, he said it would be difficult to film there.
My assumption is that they’d try to film there, and the stars and starlets would protest, and refuse to sign on with the film, or stage a “sick out” (oddly appropriate), or some other contract squabble.
Undesirables leaving your state is a good thing.
Aren’t the movie studios in GA owned by Tyler Perry (of Madea fame)? Since he’s black, is Hollyweird being raaaaacist? Last I checked, movie studios are real estate owned by private entities (Tyler Perry), not the state they’re located in. In Georgia, the Tyler Perry studios covers over 300 acres just outside Atlanta. Sooooooo, in effect, they’re boycotting a prosperous black man.
Only liberal Blacks count in their world, Tyler Perry is an “Uncle Tom”.
