Disney and Marvel may stop filming in Georgia if the state enacts its new restrictive abortion law. Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Bob Iger said on Wednesday that it would be 'very difficult' for the media company to keep filming in Georgia if the law takes effect because many people will not want to work in the state. Disney's Marvel Studios has filmed blockbuster movies in Georgia, including Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame. It would be a blow to the state's efforts to create production jobs if the entertainment giant stopped filming there.

Iger was being slimy in his comment. He did not state Disney would boycott but they would not be able to film in GA because the talent would boycott.
The police shot lots of Black Panthers in the sixties, and viceversa. Don’t have to be in any particular state.
Still think this is more about tax incentives than abortion....
They’ll be in any state that offers a high enough bribe.

I live near downtown Atlanta and see film production all the time. Last week a house a block from me was used for filming, with lots of disruption for the neighbors.
GA has a strong economy with the largest city in the SE (Atlanta), the world’s busiest airport and two deep water ports (Savannah and Brunswick). If film production left GA it wouldn’t make much difference. Our economy would still be strong.
So long don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!

Wonder what Uncle Walter would think of all of this. Seeing how he’s often demonized by the left because (and that being the most unforgivable) he was a staunch anti-communist who supported the efforts against them in Hollywood.

They should continue to film in Georgia. During the credits at the end of each movie they can show the following disclaimer: “No animals or unborn human beings were harmed during the making of this film.”
