The 35-year-old physical therapist, who had a whole day to herself, figured she's go for a 3-mile hike and spend a couple hours in the woods.
"I don't really know what happened," she said Tuesday morning, speaking to reporters while in a wheelchair. "All I can say is that ... I have strong sense of internal guidance, whatever you want to call that -- a voice, Spirit, everybody has a different name for it.
"My heart was telling me walk down this path, go left. Great. Go right. It was so strong."
She said it turned out to be not nearly as strong when after meditating on a log she wanted to go back to her car.
She tried one path and it didn't get her back to her car. She tried another. No luck. And another.
She came to the realization she wasn't on a human path; she was on a boar path.
"At that point I had no choice because everything looked the same I said the only thing I have is my gut. I don't have a compass. I don't have a cell phone," she said. "So, Spirit, or whatever you want to pray to, I said I need your help right now."
She said she listened to her sense of guidance, which instead of taking her back to her car, took her on a 5-mile journey, one she called a "spiritual boot camp."

That was my initial thought and then I saw a video clip of her “boyfriend” and I knew these were disposable humans.
Or being named after Sir Edmund Hillary?
So, here I was, feeling guilty for doubting her story. Just seeing that she said this just reinforces that doubt. "Whatever you want to pray to???" Book deal and TV movie coming up? Whatever...
Hearing this woman’s story reminds me when I lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in the 90s. In April of ‘96, a young girl named Jessica Dubroff was attempting to be the youngest person to fly across the country. She was accompanied by her father and an instructor. They crashed shortly after takeoff from the Cheyenne airport, killing all three.
The entire city was in mourning and you could feel it. A day or two later her hippy mom showed up and began spouting a bunch of new age nonsense, which only served to anger the community. This goofy hiker and Jessica Dubroff’s mother were cut from the same cloth.
Yikes!
“Lloyd Dubroff was Lisa Blair Hathaway’s common-law husband when Jessica and her brother were born. In 1990, he separated from Hathaway, and in 1991 he was 52 years old when he married 19-year-old Melinda Anne Hurst, with whom he had a child the following year. In December 1992, Hathaway gave birth to Jessica’s full sister, Jasmine, who was conceived while she lived for a time with Lloyd and Melinda in California.”

Spirit voice let her down along with her being stupid.
Nature will kill you.
