Netflix has become the first major Hollywood company to take a stand against Georgias recent passage of a strict abortion law, with chief content officer Ted Sarandos saying Tuesday that the streaming giant would rethink our entire investment in Georgia if legislation known as the heartbeat bill became state law.

Good grief. That’s disgusting. I’ve never liked them.
Maybe they should rethink abortion instead.
I guess I need to rethink my entertainment strategy as it pertains to Netflix. I don’t really use it much anyway, and now I can save some money.
I can live without Netflix....go ahead....make my day.
I already canceled Netflix. Now time to talk to friends and family.
If they they stick their noses into the baby killing debate-bye NetFlix.
Obviously, they don't like the taxation subsidies there.
Let them go to California
where the taxes are less ( NOT !).
Two cheers for Gov. Kemp. I had asked him point blank if he would hold firm against big companies, especially entertainment venues like the NFL and Hollywood, imposing its values on Georgia’s citizenry. He said something about not backing down from a fight, but wasn’t specific. Whatever his failings, he did better than Gov. Deal would have.
Already looking at subscription losses coming their way due to losing Disney Content and Disney’s streaming service actually launching at cheaper than Netflix... now you want to risk another large segment of your customer base?
The best thing that could happen to america would be people turning off their TV’s and iPhones... the less influence the media has, the better we are as a nation.
Don’t forget that Netflix signed a multi-million dollar production deal with the Obamas. They’ve made it clear that they have no use for 63 million Americans, so be it.
Plus they cancelled “Travelers”, the a-holes!
I wish they would rethink Florida.
I hate netflex.
Most of what they offer on roku is either filthy, boring, or stupid.
I dropped them when I learned the O’Bummers were involved.
Amazon TV is going to destroy Netflix, with or without the politics. Good riddance.
I chose. Canceled. Got an email trying to get me back. Deleted.
If they’re looking for a war, they just lost some bullets.
Netflix already runs programming that encourages teen suicide, and has in fact already precipitated teen suicide.
Netflix has ignored protests from Christian groups asking executives to stop this programming.
They have a terrible search engine. For instance you can’t type in “Dark Ri..” and get anything. Have to type the whole damn title in.
Amazon has good stuff - just not enough stuff.
The liberal movement is trying to take control of all the companys through the top. Wells Fargo might be next.
This is all virtue-signaling folks. These H’wood studios have satellite and subsidiary production companies operating at full capacity in GA. The tax credits, land, and weather are too good to pass up. You think someone like Tyler Perry is going to pack up and move?
I can’t understand the 173 PE multiple on Netflix. From an investor standpoint it is a bubble waiting to pop. In the least Disney plus will end any chance of Netflix ever increasing its prices. It is stuck from a revenue point of view now. Only chance is to increase membership which is going to be tough now.
The Left gets to define what is “controversial”.
Businesses hate being controversial, and the Left is exploiting that.
