Whoopi Goldberg led off today’s episode of The View by saying, “So, the guy in the White House…” She then paused and added, “Mmm-hmm.” And it was on.
She proceeded to recap President Donald Trump’s weekend visit to Japan and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s recent missile tests. But Goldberg noted how the latter didn’t seem to faze POTUS, who instead made a meal of Kim dissing Dem White House hopeful Joe Biden.
A clip was shown of Trump “agreeing” with Kim’s assessment of the former U.S, vice president as “a low IQ individual,” and then the co-hosts started in. After some roundtable discussion, Goldberg started to go off on Trump’s penchant for labeling rivals with derisive nicknames. Her words were muted four times in less than 20 seconds, but exactly what she said is unclear.
Then, after an ad break, Behar was discussing how Trump was courting black voters with an attack on Biden’s support for the 1994 crime bill. “Black people know about Charlottesville,” Behar said. “And they know about him saying these are [censored] countries.” Although the sound was muted and her mouth was pixelated, it was obvious that she referenced Trump calling out “shithole” countries.
Behar pointed to the control room and said, “You can bleep that.”

My friends wife is moron who gets all of her news from The Today Show, The View, Ellen, and NBC Nightly News.

You mentioned the soaps; I admit to some schadenfreude when Les Moonves was canned at CBS for sexual harassment.
His wife, Julie Chen, persuaded him to cancel “As The World Turns” and “Guiding Light” because she wanted her own talk show similar to “The View”. She got her wish with her show “The Talk”, which includes the vile leftist Sara Gilbert as one of the panelists.
At the time of its cancellation, “Guiding Light” was the oldest TV show in US history. It originally aired on the radio before the advent of Television. “As The World Turns” was the second oldest.
CBS cancelled two venerable soaps just because Moonves’ wife just had to have her own show featuring ignorant cackling hens.
Trump rises above them and their hate... he goes on every day ... and I don’t know another soul who could take what he’s had thrown at him.. and still go out there and smile and keep goin’! He must be gaining favor and votes ... the other side is self destructiong.. and the documents yet to come out..
I have nver watched that show.. figured i’d ruin my day if I did.. I can’t stand the one sided hate frothing from those ugly women... and I can’t imagine any man wanting to live with those women libs for one day! How could they stand the hate gossip, the yelling, the lying, the damning of everyone, and the bossy type they all are!
I didn’t watch wallace on Sunday either.. I make sure I never do.. but hearing what he said/asked and it’s just plain unbelievable what they think and what they take as truth..
wallace not trusting Barr... but did trust mueller and all those involved in the coup.. he does trust obama? he trusts those who would try to overthrow the gov and kill an election.. to install their own criminals... wallace does trust them?
and he’s supposed to be a news journalist?
the media could look at the evidence and do the news on truth... they could look at what we know/see and what is about to be released and what will convict wallaces’s people..
and one more comment.. the fisa court is looking at the dossier, signed by all the top.. TOP.. brass in the country... head of these depts... they are supposed to be good people.. and I can see the fisa court thinking if THEY submitted it, signed it.. who are we to doubt or ask for proof... they are the HEAD of all this.. so give it to them! There is no higher than President... if his name was on it too... they would not question would they.. they’d give them what they wanted... and did!
Behar was bleeped for quoting Trump but Whoopi was adding her own profanity.
I have heard that Trump will be impeached every month since Trump took office. These marks just keep falling for the shell game. At no point do they ever think “Wow, they have been wrong every month for over two years. Maybe I should stop listening to them”. When they start their hate, I just smile and keep quiet.
BTW Trump is getting impeached in June. It’s a sure thing.
My great grandmother (who died in the early 1950s) listened to the soaps on the radio and I wonder if Guiding Light was among her favourites. Family story about her was that she had gone away for a few days to visit people and as a result, missed a few episodes. When she came back and listened to catch up, she remarked on how she really did not miss that much, lol.

I do. But none of the alphabutt networks. Night Court, Boston Legal, F1, Indycar, NHRA, NUTSCAR, Modern Marvels, Alaska the Last Frontier, History Channel, movies that I approve for Our 2 year old Grandson (Penguins of Madagascar, Ice Age, Etc.), Dogfights, Nat. Geo.(some stuff)
