My daughters watched my son play lacrosse, and when they were old enough they joined a team.
They got back from their first practice (after buying all the gear).
“So - how was it?”
“They don’t allow you to hit in girls lacrosse - it’s so stupid!!”
They did it for a couple of years though.
(In boys lax you can body check, hit their sticks, etc. In girl’s you can’t body check or hit the other player’s stick. In girls, iirc, if you can get the other player to stop running, and keep them from passing the ball within a few seconds, they have to turn the ball over to you.
