House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters Thursday that she wishes President Donald Trump’s family or staff would stage an intervention, citing Trump’s abrupt move to end negotiations on infrastructure during a meeting the day before. “This time, another temper tantrum, again. I pray for the president of the United States,” Pelosi said. “I wish that his family or his administration or his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country.” The comment comes a day after Trump left a meeting with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., at the White House. Trump told the Democrats that he will not deal with them on legislation while they pursue investigations into his businesses and personal finances.
