Sounds like a fart in a coffee can.
How do you know what a fart in a coffee can sounds like?
I know what a Mopar V-8 should
sound like, and that ain’t it.
One can imagine what a fart in a
coffee can sounds like.
I suppose. But until you actually try it, you'd never know for sure.
I had the opportunity to drive a 68 Hemi Charger many years ago, its quite an experience! The only thing that I drove that compared to it was driving a sprint car.
It looks like theres a car in that picture.
The 68 is the one. Hate the 69 changes.
You know, I believe you’re right!
Good eye! :)
I like both. I prefer the split girl of the 69, and the thin rectangular tail lights look good too. But the two little round tail lights on each side on the 68 I think look great also.
“I like both. I prefer the split girl of the 69”
LOL!! Talk about a Freudian slip!
Actually, I think it was an auto-spell correct thing.
You believe me, don’t you??
The first one I ever saw was the “Banana Charger” in “Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry”.
Loved them ever since.
This article hurts my soul.
Chrysler made a couple of Charger convertible protoypes, but the one I saw was a nicely done custom, using the convertible top mechanism from a Coronet, as well as beefing up the frame to compensate for the lack of a roof.
Wow! Love your trike!
Growing up on Manhattan’s Lower East Side in the 60s my brother’s friend had a chopper trike (3-wheel motorcycle). In the neighborhood, and actually still there to this day, on E 3rd Street, were/are a branch of the Hell’s Angels. They were and are nobody to be admired.
Anyway, one day my brother’s friend was riding his chopper trike in the area near the club and had mechanical problems. He got off and was walking the bike down one of the streets when a few HA’s passed by. Instead of trying to help him out they grabbed the bike and started harassing him for being on ‘their turf’. Brave punks. He was a big guy and certainly could have whipped them individually.
Another time, as a different brother, then just 16 passed by their club, one really fat and disgusting one started bothering him and his 15 or so year old girlfriend.
I, as an 10 or 11 year old, saw 2 of them once, grown men, sniffing glue from a brown paper bag.
In any case, thanks for the photo of your 3-wheeler!
Re: last pic, why no Rebel flag on the roof?
Bias ply tires, oh dear.
And also that it isn't the same car or any dupe that appeared in the series, but rather someone else's years-later "PC-correct" version of it.
Fortunately, we don't need to be so chicken-sht PC correct around here.
“When I first read your post...”
Oh no! That would be blasphemy in this thread. I looked at the picture and thought..
1) City street with hill - gave me a sense of San Francisco
2) Charger flying thru air
3) A ‘68/69 VW
4) The taillight of a ‘68 Ford Galaxy, maybe...?
First thing I thought of was Steve McQueen and Bullitt. I now see “Bullitt” in the link...
I love these car porn threads!
