I have posted variously about Mifsud here, with minimal response. I have felt from early on that Mifsud is a key to the whole counter-intel operation... Perhaps a somewhat minor player, but a ‘key’. There is a reason that he had to disappear.

Steele testified before a Brit court; Halper was right where you would expect him; a few FBI types (Gaeta, Pientka) were in a closet somewhere... but Mifsud was rumored 'dead'. -- Oh! And then the Mueller Report spits out some useless info about Mifsud while strongly implying that he is a Russian asset... obvious distraction. Where there's smoke there's fire.
