Alexandria says growing cauliflower in community gardens is colonial
Here she is, talking total hogwash => https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=87&v=PUJ6o4tqwyM
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said yesterday that growing cauliflower in community gardens is part of the colonial attitudes that her Green New Deal will stamp out.
The New York Democrat, who introduced the proposal to tackle climate change by radically transforming the economy, posted a series of Instagram videos filmed in her home state talking about community gardens as a core component of her proposal.
What I love too is growing plants that are culturally familiar to the community. Its so important, she said as she filmed a community garden in the Bronx.
So thats really how you do it right. That is such a core component of the Green New Deal is having all of these projects make sense in a cultural context, and its an area that we get the most pushback on because people say, Why do you need to do that? Thats too hard.
But when you really think about it when someone says that its too hard to do a green space that grows Yucca instead of, I dont know, cauliflower or something what youre doing is youre taking a colonial approach to environmentalism, Ocasio-Cortez said.
That is why a lot of communities of color get resistant to certain environmentalist movements because they come with the colonial lens on them.
Hi.
From Occasional-Cortex and Ilhan Omar to Schiff for brains and Nadless, they would round us up and put us into”reeducation” camps.
A big problem is that damn Second amendment.

When I was in Mexico, I would seek out plantains. Especially fried plantain.... what a delight! fully expect to eat what grows and what is prepared locally. Same approach applies to gardens in the Bronx. If it’s cauliflower, then throw some cheese on it and bake. Don’t expect plantain.
What a dolt.
Cauliflower? Colonial?
Cauliflower has been making a big comeback lately. Her comment makes me want to buy and use even more!
If we are to follow her logic, the very soil of New York State is raciss despite it being black.
I can practically hear her say:
“As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.”
“In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.”
“Yes! There will be growth in the spring!”
“I like to watch television.”

What the h*ll is Yucca??????

Hello. My name is Chico the Cauliflower and I hail from Guadalajara, Mexico
I've been appointed as spokesman for all cauliflower and on behalf of all the cauliflower in the world, I just want to apologize for the "white privilege" of cauliflower.
I mean, just walk into the produce section of any supermarket and you not only us cauliflower more prominently displayed than our cruciferous brethren of color (i.e. broccoli; asparagus; brussel sprouts) but we are higher priced as well, no doubt on account of our whiteness. It is obvious that the consumer places a higher value on us cauliflower due to our inherent whiteness.
The cauliflower of the world would like me, as their appointed spokesman, to declare to the world at large that we are ashamed of our white privilege and hereby request, as a measure of our repentance, to be placed forever in the back bins of the produce section with the garlic, turnips and mushrooms. We also request to be marked down to 1/2 price and once taken home, we expect to be placed in a dark cupboard so that we can rot in place with the onions, while we wallow in self-hate and contemplate the indignities that our whiteness has inflicted upon the vegetable community at large.
Thank you and again, we cauliflower are sorry, so, so, sorry. We hate ourselves and you should hate us too.
“What she doesnt know is that a lot of time it costs more to make and grow a garden than your investment in time, energy, soil, water and seed. So maybe thats why a lot of folk dont grow one:-)”
LOL! Try deer hunting in CO if you drive out from Chicago and back, take all your expenses, divide them by the number of pounds of venison you netted, and see the price per pound.
She’s in the dictionary next to the term:
‘Babbling idiot’
its what plants crave!
A town in AZ?
Really a reply to Chico Califlower:
Your comments are so emotionally wrenching that they really make me stop and think: about how stupid and worthless political correctness really is.

You left out one key line: “I can’t read.”
The ‘helpful’ member of the press retorted: “Who’s got time!”
A: The cauliflower is smarter... 😀
AOC on LSD.
Yes! Glad somebody recognized those quotes.
Who knew, PC gardens? WTH! People must have some seriously wasted time to use to come up with this idiocy, PC gardens. Please God don’t let them or her bred!
She is a walking brain fart and poster child for prophylactics!
I would hate to be listening to her utterly stupid comments during . . . ahem . . . certain activity.
The biggest problem with being so open-minded is your brain can fall out...
