Actor Jim Carrey's latest tweet took a shot at Alabama's new abortion law, but it seemed to backfire, drawing praise from pro-lifers instead.
The "Dumb and Dumber" star tweeted an image Saturday of his artwork depicting Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, who signed one of the strictest anti-abortion laws in the nation, as a fully formed preborn baby being aborted from the womb.
"I think If (sic) you're going to terminate a pregnancy, it should be done sometime before the fetus becomes Governor of Alabama," Carrey wrote.
The politically charged depiction garnered some unlikely responses from the right.
"Thank you for the truly accurate (and therefore horrifying) portrayal of abortion... sucking out the brains of a PERSON because that person is inconvenient to you. You blessed the pro-life movement with this," Liz Wheeler, OANN host, commented.

Alas nobody shows you the image. It's all click-bait.

The way I remember things he was pretty nonpolitical up until a decade or so ago when he started apparently having a midlife crisis and started adapting causes.
It's Attention Seeking 101. His forte was physical comedy. Being middle-aged he can no longer pull that off, and some piece of him can't live without getting attention from the crowd. It's a sickness really.
As an aside, Canadians who come down here and deliver snooty political lectures to us are a pet peeve of mine. Samantha Bee being the worst example.

Years ago one night on Conan O’Brien’s NBC show, I saw Carrey keep saying “Christ”, wishing everyone “a Christey-Christmas” in an apparent mockery of the war on Christmas. I thought he might be a closet conservative when he did that.
He was a huge star whose career went into an incredible nose-dive. I’m guessing that’s what’s responsible for his seemingly newfound liberal social activism. Did his girlfriend accidently OD or commit suicide? I read it was a suicide. He’s probably put himself on the outs now with the pro-aborts for so accurately portraying a partial-birth abortion. Say a prayer for him, he’s a lost soul.

Yes. This is melt-down type stuff that likely won't end well for him.

Hey Jim! Go back to Canada and shut up. And finish high school while youre there.
Maybe, with a little more education you wont say stupid stuff on Twitter.

I dont think Al Gore was personally in politics at the time. I mean his family was but these guys were just roommates in a dorm.
I currently dont know TL Jones politics. He keeps it pretty much to himself. Like entertainers should.

That was a pretty mean tweet from Carrey. I guess Twitter wont ban him because hes a liberal....

But it will start banning people who criticize him, because THAT would be “hateful”.

Just wow. In his mind abortion is a legitimate tool to be used to reduce the number of people who disagree with his values. Just wow. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

There is a reason in the old Studio System days that the actors were told (ordered) to keep their mouths shut.
Hollywood idiots have been with us for a long time.

Skelton was a pretty classic manic depressive, usually called bipolar disorder today. Obviously the death of his son had a great impact on him, also. If you look even at his early work, though, you can see the same type of manic energy that guys like Chris Farley and Robin Williams rode to fame.
I've never lost a child, but as a firefighter, I've had to tell people their child was gone, and one of my daughters was ill enough once that I've been as close to that ledge as I ever care to be. Some wounds never heal.

"Does anyone remember Carrey really being this political before the past few years?"
Usually people that think they're god like are actually devil like. That was the same problem with Muhammad.

Maybe there’s something in the youth elixers, that these Hollyweirdos imbibe in so frequently, that causes late stage, crazy onset.
