Kind of hard to take South Bend/Notre Dame/Fighting Irish seriously anymore. Students probably thought it was cool to vote for an anal astronaut as mayor.
Notre Dame is not located in South Bend; ND is 23 years older than South Bend (ND was chartered in 1842; SB was chartered in 1865). The only ND students that could technically vote in the municipal elections in SB were those living in the off-campus neighborhood south of Angela Boulevard/Edison Road.
Also, the Petester is not an ND alum, despite his father having been a professor there; he went to Harvard.
So don’t associate this pervert with Our Lady’s University.
