As for me? A nice ham bone tied to my wrist, the local coyotes will drag my remains away.

More leftist conditioning. Getting people used to the ideas of human cannibalism and sacrifice.

Rotting human corpses is also a great source of disease. Flies and mosquitos carry those diseases to the living. Canada may be open for colonization again once it’s depopulated.

" . . . while scientists study how the local climate . . . impacts the five different stages of human decomposition fresh, bloat, active decay, advanced decay and skeletonization or how quickly their soft tissue is lost to necrophagous insects like beetles and blow flies."
There's something very creepy, very Nazi-like about this. I would guess that police forensic experts already know a great deal about the factors affecting the decomposition rate of human corpses, so there is something morbidly prurient about this line of "research." And what of value do they expect to learn? We already know that corpses rot.
Why do I suspect that this research might have some hidden endgame, whether intended or unintended? Are we being prepared to accept this kind of human disposal as some sort of entertainment, or as a gruesome punishment for the enemies of society? Or something else that I can't even imagine?

The purpose of such facilities is to determine how long it takes bodies subjected to different environmental conditions to decompose. This helps forensic examiners to place the time of death more accurately. This is rather important when trying to identify a body.
This is not, as some in the thread have suggested, a prurient exercise. Ambient temperature, humidity, insect species, etc., all have an effect on the rate of decomposition. A body in Canada will not decay like a body in Alabama.

The information gained from body farms has been of immeasurable value to forensic investigators. It sounds creepy, for sure. But when one can ascertain how long a person has been dead, after it’s found in the woods and crawling with this particular bug larvae or that strain of mold, then the study of decomposing remains becomes a much-appreciated tool.

As I read this thread I find the ignorance stunning. Absolutely some of the most ignorant and stupid things Ive read on FR in ages.
At least you folk are good for a laugh.
And here is a clue: your body is going to decay and waste away, just like the bodies in this location. The worms are going to get us all.
