Are you in Texas? If so, you may need to plant those in the ‘winter’ versus now. They like to get started when the weather is cool.

I’ve actually harvested them in March in Wisconsin - after they spent the winter under a thick cover of snow. What a treat!

Pick when they are the size of the ones you see frozen or fresh in the grocery - about a quarter-coin size across.
