For Extra Credit: How It Is Supposed to Work

A magnet is any material or object that produces a magnetic field. Among the strongest magnets are those derived from rare-earth minerals. In the case of the Earth Engine, superstrong magnets paired with computer control and the good old flywheel allow IEC to claim it can “suspend entropy.”

Mr. Danzik says he became convinced he could extract energy from powerful magnets (mostly ordinary iron) that are clustered in a way that magnifies their effect. Such arrays are well known. For example, Tesla cars use electromagnetic motors with what are called “Halbach” arrays, which are about 30% stronger than typical neodymium magnets.
The magnets IEC uses are also highly one-sided, or “anisotropic,” which means their field is stronger on one face than the other—say, 85% North and 15% South.

In the R32, magnets located in three black towers interact with ones placed in the two one-ton, counter-rotating flywheels. As the flywheel rotates, small battery-powered motors move the tower magnets’ orientation at moments of highest drag. This allows the magnets to accelerate as they approach and not slow down as much when they pass.

The net force imparts angular momentum to the flywheels that can then be harvested, mechanically or electrically, IEC claims.

The biggest riddle involves the conservation of energy. Conventional physics holds that magnets have nearly zero inherent energy. Mr. Danzik believes that is because we calculate magnets’ strength by how much current they induce in a loop of wire. He argues that with the emergence of anisotropic, rare-earth magnets, we need a new set of equations to calculate a new physical quantity, which he describes as ‘’the resulting center shaft torque produced from angular momentum derived from the force of paired magnetic fields.”

If it all checks out, this new quantity would have to be measured in a new unit: the Danzik.

It will eventually drain the earth’s magnetic field.

Then we all die.

Oh, yeah? And what are they gonna do when these things suck all the magnetic energy out of the earth’s core? Then the earth goes wobbly in its orbit and erratic surge tides start flipping over islands and wiping out coastal cities? We’re all gonna die! Unless. of course, we give up our sovereignty and pay a global magnetic flux tax.

ONE MAN’S UNLIKELY QUEST TO POWER THE WORLD WITH MAGNETS

It's not an "unlikely quest."

It's a silly, ignorant, and ridiculous quest.

The man who is pursuing (named Dennis Danzik) is the personification of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

Maybe I should say he's "a personification of the Dunning-Kruger effect," because he's so totally not alone. We seem to be living in a world-wide Dunning-Kruger Overdrive culture.

Total rubbish!

The ONLY way to make a gravity or magnetic perpetual motion machine would be to find a method of shielding gravity or magnetism....i.e a thin sheet of material that magnetism or gravity could not pass through.

No such material can possibly exist..the laws of physics prohibit such.

Talk out there has been Nicola Tesla figured out how to get free energy from the earth’s energy, if I remember correctly the magnetic field.

And that Tesla told Nixon who years ago told Trump, and that Trump’s uncle, possibly the one who attended MIT, was involved.

This MSM article (not necessarily trustworthy in itself) coming out now makes me wonder if the rumblings about some kind of revealing are true.

"So, I bought shares in this company..."
"Yeah?"
"... that makes these magnetic things ..."
"Like refrigerator stickers?"
"No, they produce electricity."
"Oh, boy."
"Yeah, I'll make a fortune."
"What do you have to do to make it run?"
"Well, there's crank on the side."

A friend in my 8th grade science class asked the teacher if he’d get extra credit if he invented a perpetual motion machine.

I don’t know who had the name first, but Google already uses the name “Earth Engine”........

No. There is no suspension of disbelief - that’s for plays. There is no “suspension of the laws of physics”, since the laws of physics are observations and conclusions about how things work, and there is no meaning to “suspending” them. And they’re not laws, as in man made laws. And you don’t “suspend” entropy.

So far, I’m giving the article a zero for clear thinking. But I’m reading on. No I’m not - the article stops right there.

Conclusion: there is no “more energy out than in.” Can’t happen, so it doesn’t happen. However, it’s possible that it steals energy from something outside of it. Sea wave generators do that. Windmills do it. It’s possible to steal energy using a temperature differential. The Earth’s magnetic field is in a constant flux. There is no reason why someone smart can’t figure out a way to steal some energy from that. The self-winding watch stole energy from arm motion.

Either it steals energy from something outside it, or it contains its inner source of power. We can’t know, because the unit is sealed.

No perpetual motion machines!

all the while posting his fund me website.
