I had one cat die young from a disease. The others, since my childhood, have lived into their late teens. I just put one to rest who was my dear companion for 19 years. I miss them all like family.

When I bought homes, I always bought on a dead end street and away from major roads, just so I could let them outside.

Only seven? Short life for a kitty.

When I was eleven I found a gray kitten by the roadside and brought him home. Of course mom said “You’re not keeping that thing”. Then she fell in love. He became a family member. Then one day he disappeared; mom was quite upset when she called to tell me. I was 29.
