"Thag, we get drunk."
"We no invent beer yet, Gronk"
"How 'bout shoot rats at dump?"
"We no invent gun. Dump at back of cave - shoot eye out if did."
"Dance with women?"
"Mongo only know same tune on bird bone flute. Beside, derivative of composer Gorgo the Neanderthal, who also make same two notes. Again and again."
"What we do for fun then?"
"I know, crawl through hole at back of cave. Bat dung smell good!"

Searching for Magic Mushrooms?
Maybe that explains the After-Party artwork?

“Dad, what age is this?”
“It’s the Stone Age, Borf.”
“Does that mean we can get stoned?”
“No, this kind of stone means a rock.”
“Why don’t we call it the Age of Rock, then?”
“Because The Rolling Stones aren’t for 14,000 years.”
“But you said THIS is the Stone Age.”
“Shut up and roll me a doobie.”

I should tell DH to pretend he’s a caveman. He freaks out every time he has to go into the crawlspace — “the creepiest place ever”, according to him.

Just HOW do they know they were doing this for amusement? Was the local boardwalk shut down for repairs? Too early in the year for the water park to open?
To: rdl6989
How do they know it was for fun? Maybe the kids were being punished.
