Economists are like weather forecasters.
Weather forecasters will acknowledge when they are wrong, and are right occasionally.
They want to make sure we can’t win a war, not even a trade war.
Trump redefines stale traditional norms we are all programmed to receive. I’ll check out any time I like, and I’ll leave.

The federal reserve has been hiking rates and sucking cash out of the economy by dumping $500 billion worth of stocks and bonds into the market (which it had gotten through “quantitative easing). The result is that the economy, while performing very well, is very far from over-heating.
Consider the housing market. The news isn’t that housing sales are weakening; it’s that housing sales are STILL in “the Great Recession” and the economy is growing at a 3% rate ANYWAY.
Any “Economics” outfit that uses terms like Macro and Micro is starting from false premises and presumptions. Such economists tend to be Finance wizards at best which qualifies them to advise others how to make a lot of money from chasing money around but does not qualify them to prognosticate on real Economics and the Economy. They can make a company or themselves rich while the Economy follows immutable economic laws while crashing due to interference by politicians who suck up to these Financial “economists.”

We sell very little to them.
We can make just about everything they sell to us, or buy it from someone else.
They are not being asked to give up sovereignty.
They are being asked to play by the same rules as others in international markets.
They stayed outside the international markets for decades, in their poverty.
We made them rich.
The U.S. gave them nearly a trillion in aid.
They stole probably a trillion more in intellectual property rights, as former administrations winked and nodded.
That's basically what this "economist" is saying.
Strong enough for me to know that I made the right decision in voting for Trump.
