On the local news they called her an elderly woman, sorry didnt see the age posted
I see what you did there;)
Heard this yesterday. Her Family should have Standing and Grounds for a Multi Million Dollar Civil Suit for the wrongful death. I have seen these scooters, there is NOT a Single Warning Sticker on them that says Injury or Death may occur if used as a weapon.
They have a case!!
thats ok just protesting a little. i resemble that remark!
All true except he was voted in by the veterans committee spearheaded by Mantle, Berra and voted for by such greats as Ted Williams.
He wouldnt be the first HOFamer who got in through veterans committee.
You know the sportswriters who vote tend to be bigoted toward their favorites too.
This year Mariano Rivera was elected by 100% of the voting writers. That has never happened before, 100%. He certainly deserves it.
BTW. Scooters induction speech is a pisser. He didnt know when to stop and kept motor mouthing on and on. Finally Yogi got up and walked him off the stage. Pretty funny.
“The left will not just destroy our way of life but destroy the country.”
And the rest of us are letting them do it.
Oh. In that case,
...never mind
my mom is turning 70 in October she still considers herself young and I think so too..they should take that scum bag who murdered that woman and beat him to death but Newsome says no death penalty
If he was in Longstreet’s division, would you approve of him?
It was not me. 100%.
My hero from the late ‘40’s into the early ‘50’s...After that I got married and had my own Short Stop....
snort, guffaw...
OK, he’s probably mentally ill.
But there’s more to the story of such a large percent of homeless being mentally ill.
A fair percent of them got that way via drug use.
Homeless guys don't typically have credit cards with which to rent scooters.
I would not bet the farm on that. In fact, the way things are going, he will probably get out in plenty of time to kill again and again.
I didn't know it was a rented scooter. He could have stolen it from someone, or borrowed it from one of his drug dealing friends. Maybe even used his EBT/Food Stamp card to pay for the rental.

In Long Beach the scooters are made and operated by a company called Bird.
You need an app to unlock the scooters and pay for the rides. There are scooters just sitting there on sidewalks throughout the city.
I believe this scooter was just there and this maniac grabbed it and beat this woman to death. A news helicopter overhead later showed the scooter broken in two pieces, that’s how savage the attack was.
