NEW YORK — Tim Conway, the stellar second banana to Carol Burnett who won four Emmy Awards on her TV variety show, has died, according to his publicist. He was 85.
Conway died Tuesday morning after a long illness in Los Angeles, according to Howard Bragman, who heads LaBrea Media.

Tim Conway Jr is also very quick witted and really nice. His show is podcast on I heart radio if you aren’t in the SoCal area. I never miss it.
The wife and I and kids watched the elephant skit when it first aired. The low class airplane skit was a hoot too.
That has to be a mistake that’s been floating around this week. Lena Horne died in 2010.

He did the shuffling old man in several different settings. The most common element was that Harvey Korman was in a rush. One had Tim as a deli clerk, another as a hot dog vendor. When they changed it up and brought the old man in as a torture specialist in a castle, the audience lost it before the skit even began.
I finally cancelled it from my season passes, too.
The faggotry was too much too often.

Tim Conway then suffered the world’s longest giggle fit and couldn’t even get up off the floor.
He is missed.

Too bad there was such an emphasis on flaming homosexuals on Cool Kids, because it had possibilities with the story line. They had the retirement facility nailed and the place looked exactly like my inlaws’ place for 10-12 years.
Whomever did their research grossly mis-judged their audience, which would be baby boomers. We weren’t immersed in “sodomy is good”. We’re still repulsed by it.
Oh, well... It’s just a stupid TV show.
