One of Delta’s advertising taglines, “Delta is ready when you are.”, was one of the most difficult sentences to nail when I was at broadcasting school in the early ‘70’s.

I remember eating like that in coach throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s. It was a salad, a bun, a dessert, and a choice of hot chicken or beef or pasta.
