Men charged with murder of Orange County woman who was run over and dragged after robbery

Two men were charged Friday with the robbery and murder of a 32-year-old Orange County woman who was run over in a Garden Grove parking lot and then dragged alongside her assailant’s vehicle as they tried to flee, authorities said.

As Guy accelerated, Nguyen was dragged alongside the vehicle and run over, police and prosecutors said. Nguyen was taken to a trauma center, where she was pronounced dead.

Very reminiscent of the James Byrd Jr. indecent in Texas. Wonder if this case will get the same notoriety?

If they would have just stole her purse, it wouldn’t be a Crime here in California, if this was Los Angeles County the Police would not have even responded and if they did they would blame the poor womans death on her for not accomodating the yutes that were just doing their job.

At the time of the slaying, Walker was out on bail on two felony counts of robbery, one felony count of receiving stolen property and one felony count of burglary. Guy was out on bail on one felony count of robbery and one count of carrying a concealed firearm, prosecutors said.

Somehow, that isn't at all reassuring about the competence of the California criminal justice system.

The Bill of Rights prohibits excessive bail. But I would bet each of these guys has a record as long as your arm and should be still serving time for previous crimes.
