Former FBI director James Comey said Thursday that he thinks President Trump likely has committed crimes that could be cause for indictment once he leaves office and, were he not president, likely would already have been indicted.
In a CNN town-hall-style meeting, Mr. Comey was asked by host Anderson Cooper whether Mr. Trump acted with corrupt intent to interfere with an ongoing investigation.
“It sure looks that way,” Mr. Comey replied, saying he based that judgment on his reading of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report and leaning most heavily on Mr. Trump’s order to White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire Mr. Mueller.
When Mr. Cooper asked the former FBI chief whether he agreed with an open letter from numerous federal prosecutors that Mr. Trump would already have been indicted on obstruction of justice charges if were not the president, Mr. Comey was emphatic.
“Yes. agree. No doubt,” he told Mr. Cooper.
It has been longstanding Justice Department policy that a sitting president cannot be indicted.
Attorney General William Barr has said, though, that Mr. Mueller’s decision not to charge Mr. Trump was not based on that policy alone.
When a president could be indicted poses an awkward question, Mr. Comey said.
He said Mr. Mueller, in writing his report, seemed to be balancing Justice Department policy with building a factual record that could be used in other circumstances, such as Congress’s power to impeach a president.

Trump. You can imagine that every senior Republican and
potential adversary of Obama had their names entered in the
“about” query. They used FISA Court raw data under section
702 authority to access and utilize the NSA databases.
Was Mitt Romney a target? Paul Ryan? Mitch McConnell? We
know for a fact, because he admitted it, that John Brennan’s
CIA hacked into the Senate Intelligence committee computers

Such outbursts are reminiscent of spaghetti westerns when they slip the noose around a condemned criminal’s neck.
Trump needs to declassify and release everything, including things which will tarnish the boy-god. But it has to be released slowly and constructively. Too much at once will guarantee the media ignores it. If it comes out in a controlled fashion, it will be easier to understand, and the administration can control the narrative..
Trump needs to take Comey seriously. The left will seek to destroy Trump, even after his death, in order to regain control and momentum. Trump needs to burn down much of what is “normal” DC operations.
It’s not his height that disturbing, it’s how much his parents hate him.
Better yet, interesting questions were raised in public this last week. Why was Comey claiming Obstruction of Justice, before the Mueller investigation was even initiated or Trump inaugurated ? Why are those records sealed last month. Why was the FBI conducting CI on foreign soil prior to the election? Who would that imply had to approve such an operation?

judges and other key players were in place? Before the truth
of things were shown at a pace that would avoid civil war?
Before their assassins and doomsday plays could be neutralized?
