Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is paying the funeral expenses for Jaylon McKenzie, the promising eighth-grade football player killed by a stray bullet last weekend.
"For him to reach out to me was unbelievable," McKenzie's mother, Sukeena Gunner, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

This didn't come from Elliott or the Cowboys and that makes it all the better.
Kudos for doing a good thing.
Plenty of good people in the NFL.
Sadly the thugs and the Communists are ruining it for them.
I remember this was part of United Way, where players would actually be active in their communities. Good for Elliot. He is my favorite player in the NFL.
Sounds like Zeke has grown up since his suspension.
Nice, but where is the father of the child? Kid was killed by a stray bullet from a thug in the hood?
The NFL is an American institution. It does not exist in a political or social vacuum. It reflects a culture that is openly embracing hedonism, sodomy, celebrity worship and decadence. Moreover it is televised weekly and throughout the year it is in the media.

HOORAY Ezekiel
Kids and adults killed or injured by stray buckets in certain neighborhoods happens. Some gangbanger shooting at others typically ends up harming a bystander or someone nearby that has nothing to do with the problem
*bullets* lol not buckets
As an Eagle fan I really want to hate Ezekial Elliott. Why does he have to keep making it so hard?
Likely long gone if not dead.
Of course, that assumes the Mother knows who the Father is.
Non-sequitur, here.
Non-sequitur.
How would a father (as opposed to sire) keep this kid from getting shot?
