Hackers have stolen over $40 million worth of bitcoin from Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, the company said on Tuesday.
Binance said the hackers ran off with over 7,000 bitcoin and used a variety of attack methods to carry out the "large scale security breach" which occurred on Tuesday. They also managed to get some user information such as two-factor authentication codes, which are required to log in to a Binance account.

So much for cryptocurrencies being safe and unhackable as promised in the brochures.
Interesting. Sounds like there is an inside person.

Really? Then they really weren’t two-factor, were they? The company doesn’t actually understand how two-factor works. True two-factor is unstealable, like a text code to a registered cellphone. Unless maybe they changed all the registered cellphone numbers to their own (the hackers) numbers.
Can I use bitcoin to buy Migas at a bodega? or do I need an account at grub hub?
Phantom money for those who like to live in the phantom online/social media world.

Unpossible-Bitcoin is blockchain, can’t be hacked.
Unless bitcoin is in charge of storage, it is vulnerable

You can buy all kinds of strange stuff with bitcoins. I’ve not done any buying with bitcoin and do not recommend any of the above sellers. Do your own due diligence.
Cheers.
