Well no, no he doesn’t! He is a homosexual who has married a man. How is that taking God seriously?
Pete has joined a religion that is inclusive, meaning all aberration is accepted and blessed by God, because God made you to be aberrant. The Episcopal Church USA is today the ultimate of inclusivity.
There is no sin except if you are not an “inclusive” person. If you don’t accept their “truth” then you’re a hater and God could not love YOU. You’re especially hateful if you support Donald J Trump, the worst sinner ever to live, in their eyes.
This church now allows its members to feel superior to all other religions and to flaunt their superiority of consciousness. God supposedly supports their actions and blesses their marriages. If you think their actions are sinful then you are not a real Christian.
Pete thinks evangelicals will be persuaded by him because his righteousness is a bright light. He is delusional.
Pete takes his semi-mighty god seriously, the one that tells him to do whatever feels good; the one that does not judge sin; the one that hates Old Testament morality. Pete likes his god a lot. Pete does not like the God who hates homosexuality and abortion and promiscuity.
Pete’s god is found in the Bible. He is the one who tempts Eve in the Garden and Christ in the wilderness. Pete is a disciple of the god of temptation. He reaps the earthly rewards of succumbing to lust. He will worship his god, Satan, until Trump’s God, the Creator, crushes Pete’s master at the end of time.
Pete will not be with us in eternity unless he repents of his sinful ways and accepts Christ as his personal savior.
