In fairness, although Siamese cats have nothing to do with Asian culture, Lady and the Tramp used the name to turn the cats into traitorous, buck-toothed, slant-eyed cats singing to an East-Asian musical scale. The stereotypes are unmistakeable even if mislocated. (”Derr... Siam’s somewhere in Asia, innit?”)

Actually, it plays on the fact that CATS can be traitorous, sharp-toothed and slant-eyed or haven’t you ever run across one? If you know the movie, it is portrayed as the feline spirit versus canine sweetness and playfulness.

It’s a really cute song within the movie.
