The all Apple iPhones models 7, 7 plus, 8, 8 plus , and all X models since 2016 will survive that with no problem. Any IP67 device can survive a mere dunking in a toilet or a bath or washbasin. IP68 is immersion below 1.5 meters for more than 30 minutes and the manufacturer must designate to what depth it is certified to meet. IP68 includes depths to a 1000 meters. There is no such thing as waterproof standard, only water resistant.
