Tulsa armed robber sentenced to 22 years in federal prison (Must See!!!)

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — A man involved in a violent shootout at a Tulsa liquor store was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison Friday.

In February 2018, a store employee and her daughter fought for their lives when Tyrone Lee, 37, tried to rob them at gunpoint with a sawed-off shotgun. Officers later arrested Lee after he was admitted to a hospital for his injuries.

“Violent criminals like Tyrone Lee are a threat to the lives of every Oklahoman. This robbery could have ended in tragedy, but it ended with justice,” said U.S. Attorney Trent Shores. “We are pleased the court handed down a sentence of 22 years in federal prison. Chalk this up as another success story for Project Safe Neighborhoods, as another ‘Alpha criminal’ was removed from our Tulsa streets.”

I can’t bring myself to criticize these poor ladies, but I can condemn ignorant Hollywood films that leave people with false ideas about shooting a full grown male. You burn that sob down with every freakin round you have until it’s a gurgling sack of red garbage. Then call 911

The women showed excellent presence-of-mind and waited for just the right moment to obtain their pistols. They also made perfect use of available concealment until they could get a good shot.

The older woman hesitated after the first successful hits and was nearly taken down when the assailant rushed at her.

She should have kept shooting until the robber fell or until her gun was empty. The threat is not over until the assailant is down and disarmed.

The younger woman retreated when she should have advanced to help her partner. Even so, she did come around in time to put a point-blank shot into his left kidney. She got another good shot to his face or neck.

It is amazing the robber survived. He won't be coming back. All-in-all a happy ending.
