In response to a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings, the United States is deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force to the U.S. Central Command region to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force. The United States is not seeking war with the Iranian regime, but we are fully prepared to respond to any attack, whether by proxy, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or regular Iranian forces.
There are currently several key units/assets in theater in CENTCOM AO- a squadron of USAF F-35a’s conducting combat operations, a USMC Amphibious Readiness Group, the USS Lincoln carrier strike group...
...is in the Mediterranean in transit to the Gulf via Suez canal after operations w USS Stennis & French nuclear carrier De Gaulle. The Carrier air wing is *already* w/in range of iran w tanker support.
The US Mil maintains Tier 1 SOF units in the AO, 160th SOAR support, & other Tier 2 SOF units as well.
En route to join them arriving shortly will be a detachment of B-1b Lancer heavy bombers. Thats a lot of fire power & its not there to just rattle sabers.

The defection of a VERY high ranking IRGC gen officer us extremely noteworthy bc he fled w huge amounts of IRGC docs and Intelligence. He sought asylum from US & is being debriefed by US Intell.
IRGC runs Lebanese Hezbollah, supports Taliban and is in defacto control of Al Qaeda. They also control Ballistic missile, chem/bio & nuclear weapons program in Iran.
The IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps) is to the Iranian Regime what the SS was to Nazi Germany; a seperate armed Force and Intelligence service loyal exclusively to the regime leaders.
His defection would illuminate all terrorism activities underway or planned by Iran. Today a story quietly released that the US FED LE is rounding up Hezbollah ‘sleeper’ terrorists inside the US.

Consider that these deployments are being made on same day a Hezbollah (iranian IRGC controlled trans-national terror group larger than AQ) terror bust inside US was announced.
There is *strong* indications US Intelligence is covertly and overtly acting to stop imminent terrorist attacks ordered by Iran against US Targets inside & outside the US.
Announcements like today’s explicit warning to Iran are normally released via Public Affairs office of the Pentagon and are not usually this specific.
Its my assessment that 1) US knows of imminent terror attacks ordered by Iran 2) is working to disrupt them 3) the US Mil already has green light to act should certain preconditions be met by Iranian actions.
This can be considered as an Alert to all US Citizens abroad, as well as all US CITIZENS AND ISRAELI CITIZENS living in large US population centers, especially in cities like LA, NYC, DC, Chicago, Detroit.
If you live in a highly populated area, especially on the coasts, or live/work near tourism attractions or US GOVT locations be EXTREMELY alert, and report ANYTHING suspicious no matter how small to FBI or DHS tip line.

I was at Ohio State University yesterday or my daughters graduation. Stadium had 7k+ degree recipients alone - figure you multiply that by 4 for total attendees that aren’t recipients for about 35k+ in the Horseshoe.
Let me tell you I had my head on a swivel all day. I hate being in crowds this big to begin with but knowing there was “stuff’ going on in the world had me amped a bit more than usual.
