Yes, that’s a major problem for cities too.

This will be metro chaos vs rural with guns & food .

First to go should be the bridges across rivers to the the major cities. Ever see the movie where New York City becomes a prison?

If Pennsylvania isolated Philadelphia it wouldn’t be a red state.

If New York isolated NYC....

If Massachusetts isolated Boston...

If Maryland isolated Baltimore...

“My general feeling is that the older I get, the more willing I am to die for doing the right thing.”

I could not have said that better myself.

Its better for all that we separate - peacefully. New England and the Left Coast and a few other enclaves like Chicago and Miami to one side. The rest of the country to the other.

What will happen to everyone’s 401’s? Wall see is in a blue state.

Don’t break up states to do it. Keep Florida red and if Broward County doesn’t like it, they can leave.

Would you seriously give up the West Coast ports and Navy facilities?

Agreed. I’m thinking a separation by county is called for.

My general feeling is that the older I get, the more willing I am to die for doing the right thing.

Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose. I hope there are a lot of people over a certain age but still fit for duty who are willing to follow the oath so many of us took, more willing than ever because we have that extra freedom. I don't recall an expiration date on my oath, but I am quite certain that, if things continue getting ugly, I have a lot less to lose than our children do. [And I made parenting a high priority. None of my children are on the totalitarian-globalist side in this latest phase of the continuing war between good and evil.]

Blueflag :" Our side will require a Fort Sumter or Pearl Harbor event before going kinetic. "

I think / am bothered by the fact that you are correct.

Like any large group the military is a combination of every part of society.

As in society, there will be rogue elements to watch out for but I do agree that the average military member ain’t going for this rounding people up stuff.

At least the conservative side will have guns and ammo. The liberal limp-wristed jerks will be harnessing magnifying glasses.

Don’t kid yourself. Their side has more than their share of guns.
