The Morning Joe crew wound themselves up into predictable outrage over Attorney General Bill Barr's Senate testimony of yesterday. Joe Scarborough capped the display of righteous indignation by calling for Barr's impeachment, hurling a couple of epithets along the way. Scarborough:
"I understand it doesn’t make political sense to impeach Donald Trump, but for the life of me I don’t know why Democrats would not start gathering evidence to impeach this man [Barr]. He is actually as dangerous in the position of Attorney General as Donald Trump is as President of the United States . . . Barr is not an Attorney General of the United States, he is Donald Trump's defense attorney. He's his lackey. He's his stooge."
Perhaps more interesting than Scarborough's call for Barr's impeachment was his acknowledgment that it "doesn't make political sense to impeach Donald Trump." Guess that makes Joe a Pelosi Democrat rather than a Tlaib/Ocasio-Cortez one.
Note: It wasn't so long ago that Joe and Mika themselves might have been called Trump's lackeys, stooges, or as Rolling Stone put it, "lapdogs." Author Matt Taibbi accused them of "a craven display of bumlicking and softballing," and described a "hot-and-sweaty ménage a trois between the candidate and Mika and Joe." The National Review also cataloged Scarborough's enthusiastic praise for Trump.

Today my local paper (The Seattle Slimes) published a NYT piece entitled something like “Six Lies and Misleading Statements in Barr’s Testimony.” I have never seen a more laughable case of nitpicking in my life. The article did not establish that there were any “lies” at all, and the “misleading” statements were simply the slight variations in phrasing that occur when you describe events to different people on different occasions, or in response to slightly different questions about those events.

The left is terrified because Barr is looking into possible criminal violations among the leakers and Deep State enemies of Trump. That is why they are trying to destroy his credibility. The media never described Holder or Lynch as Obama’s “lackeys,” but they certainly seemed to act that way on numerous occasions.
Probably not. Even his precious Mika looks miserable ALL the time.
In other words:
He is openly encouraging others to take extraordinary measures to oust him and STOP his Investigations into Abuse of Power at the Highest Levels of Government.

They will up the rhetoric on Barr now that they have totally alienated him and are now terrified that their terror tactics didn’t faze him a bit...they smacked the junkyard dog on the nose and he is sharpening his teeth before he bites.
The morning show is naught but a Democratic Party coup tool. Scarborough is a junior grade officer in this USA overthrow. He should be charged with Treason.
In a million years Scarborough couldn’t be half the lawyer Barr is... Joe’s king of the Lilliputians...

Maybe Barr should open an investigation into Joe’s dead intern.

I don’t see where Barr did anything wrong PERIOD! He’s to blame for the media not covering Mueller’s report the way Mueller wanted it to - somehow that’s Barr’s fault? I would think a working brain would be necessary before running for political office of any kind but this proves that’s not true at all.
The whole thing is so simple, it’s painful to see grownups (?) twisting themselves into knots trying to make it into something that its not!
No one can name the specific LIE that Barr’s being accused of telling. Back to the old projection game - they are lying because WE WOULD LIE when we get in that same situation!
