Hes in a blizzard of trouble.
A Colorado man was arrested on suspicion of robbing the same Dairy Queen twice in one day. Pueblo, Colo., cops also believe Levi John Roberts, 37, tried and failed to carjack two people during those robberies.
Roberts first robbed the ice cream shop around 9 p.m. Monday, at which time police responded to a call about an armed robbery, according to ABC affiliate KRDO in Colorado. The bandit reportedly made off with an undetermined amount of cash, but was forced to make his escape on foot after unsuccessfully trying to carjack a customer at the eaterys drive-thru window. Responding officers had no luck finding him at the time.
Less than two hours later, around 10:40 p.m., police officers got another chance when Roberts allegedly returned to the scene of the crime and robbed the Oakshire Lane Dairy Queen again. Once again, he also attempted to steal an automobile on his way out this one belonging to a Dairy Queen employee but failed to get away with the car.
Cops then broke out their night vision equipment and went on the lookout for Roberts. He was reportedly found hiding in a prairie. The two-timing burglar tried to run, according to CBS affiliate KKTV, but was apprehended and charged with robbery, attempted robbery and felony menacing.
He was reportedly found hiding in a prairie.
