Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli want to face trial in the college admissions scandal because they think it’s their best chance for redemption, a source close to them tells PEOPLE. “Lori feels like so much damage has been done publicly that the only way for her to counter it is to fight this case in court,” the source tells PEOPLE. “She feels like once all the evidence is presented, that people will understand how things happened.”

I still think we don’t know all of the facts. Was she sought out by the “scammers” and lied to about creative ways to get her kids into college? They knew she had money. I can see them telling her this was all in the gray area but they had letters from attorneys that it was all perfectly legal.
Yes, she should have known better, but some people are just gullible. I’m waiting to hear the whole story.
Like I said before, I hope she knows what she is doing.

She is dead to Hallmark. “One Calls the Heart” has been on hiatus for six weeks while they edit her out of all the episodes already in the can. No easy task as she is a main character and Mayor of the fictional Town.

That's the only part of this that I find overly excessive, sure punish her for her misdeeds but the penalties she faces are crazy. Yes she paid out oodles of money to get her stupid kid into a second rate college, but perhaps the FBI might want to investige their own agents for instituting a soft coup against Trump instead of going full bore with this show trial of the wealthy and famous in an attempt to pretend they are doing their job.
The ‘college admissions scandal’ is just another extension of the continuing war on white people/culture.

She may win on a few charges but they have her dead to rights on money laundering.
I would agree with you except for one thing. If she can get the trial is in California, anything is possible. They acquitted a murderer who slashed two people to death because he was an actor.
Sometimes the first deal is the best, sometimes you have to bargain. But, if you're guilty, guilty, guilty and not Jussi Smollett, you have a weak hand. So now it's on to Plan B, C, D, etc.
