The Department of Justice announced Monday the arrest of a former U.S. Army infantryman who is accused of plotting a "mass casualty" terrorist attack at a white nationalist rally in Long Beach, California over the weekend.
Agents arrested the suspect, Mark Steven Domingo of Reseda, California, on Friday evening after an undercover source for the FBI sent the suspect what he believed was a live bomb that he could use to carry out his attack.
"This investigation successfully disrupted a very real threat posed by a trained combat soldier who repeatedly stated he wanted to cause the maximum number of casualties," U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Nick Hanna said in a statement.
The Army confirmed Domingo's service.
"Domingo served as an infantryman in the Army from November 2011 to February 2013, attaining the rank of private," said Lt. Col. Emanuel Ortizcruz, an Army spokesman. "He deployed to Afghanistan from September 2012 to February 2013."

For planning an attack to commit mass murders that was thwarted by luck as much as anything else he faces a mere 15 years. Should be the equivalent of 50+ counts of murder.

So was he planning on attacking a "white nationalist" rally? He does have an Hispanic surname. Or, was he planning an attack
at a "white nationalist" rally despite this, like some sort of real-life Clayton Bigsby?
And, what is it that's supposed to be so wrong about "white nationalist," anyway? Is it the nationalist part, the white part or the combination of the two?

Wonder who he will vote for?

U.S. combat veteran plotted to bomb white nationalist rally: prosecutorsIt's very strange that the title says he planned to "bomb a white nationalist rally" yet in the article it says this ...
Domingo, who had purchased several hundred long nails to serve as shrapnel in an improvised explosive device, had also suggested attacks on Jews, police officers, churches, a military facility, Southern California freeways and the Santa Monica Pier during internet conversations with the informant, Young said.
His intended targets seem to be all over the political map.

Hates Christians, hates Jews, hates police, hates automotive traffic, hates tourists.
Sounds like an anarcho-communist to me. But he’ll be the typical Trump supporter in the MSM, no doubt.

I’m a little surprised that ABC (Reuters too) led with a title that indicates he was going to target “white nationalists.” Now they’ll have to do a 180 to make him into a Trump supporter.
Sounds like a schizophrenic to me but that may be a fine distinction from anarcho-communist.

Sounds like a schizophrenic to me but that may be a fine distinction from anarcho-communist. They're not at all mutually exclusive. It takes a disordered mind to want no government combined with total state control in the first place.

I call this Fake News.
my money says the FBI wanted to pretend to Blow something up and found somebody to go along with them, they most likely sought him out and set him up from day 1. Otherwise it would never have happened.

Prepare to see a string of these stories breaking in the media.
After having been suitably de-pantsed by the Russia Conclusion Fail, our deep state intel agencies are scrambling to prove to us how indispensable they are.
