Such stories appear from time to time. And they (so far) always follow this pattern:

1. A scientist uses data to claim that the speed of light is not constant.
2. Other scientists examine the data, and find a flaw. Einstein was right. The speed of light really is constant.

Now, having said that, it’s good that scientists are still debating and challenging Einstein’s work. Because science is never settled.

Agree with you on Einstein's theory. I'd argue with the study of astronomic phenomena and the finding of objects as predicted by his Theory of Relativity, his theory may be one of the most tested theory of any science.

And to fellow Christians who are young earthers and hang your hat on the speed of light changing a lot. Really? Think about what it means to use your belief in the speed of light being inconsistent to "explain" away the fact that stars and galaxies are billions of light years away. In order to go from a billions of years old universe to one that's thousands of years old, the speed of light would have had to at times been millions of times faster. Think about it. Instead of light traveling 186,000 miles per second you're demanding it had traveled something like 200,000,000,000 miles per second. :)
