Is this not the most obvious thing you ever heard? Down and dirty, if you are a fatty you have a really high chance of having health problems. No kidding....
I need to get a government grant to study the theory that water is wet.
Yes, I had the same reaction to this that you had. Next they are going to say that having unprotected sex with multiple partners that are also meth heads will increase your risk of acquiring an STD. But only after a lengthy study.
For many people BMI is not a reliable indicator of obesity. It is very misleading for those with a lot of lean muscle mass. It will tell you that a heavily muscled athlete with 10% body fat is “obese” or “grossly overweight”.
BMI is a garbage metric.
I’m BMI 25, but I lift weights, sprint, and play sports...
That’s a lot of words for something that could have easily (and much more clearly) been put into a chart.

Expect screams of “Fat Shaming!!!” from the Left....
How many obesity-related illnesses are a result of the types of diets that make people overweight to begin with? Heavy on the sugar, starches, processed foods, and chemical God-only-knows-what formulas. We all knew growing up that delicious but sketchy stuff was for occasional consumption only.
What government defines as food these days [and then funnels into school lunch rooms] IS downright sickening.
Obesity Government dietary advice significantly increases risk of serious disease and early death.
Call me crazy, I could be wrong, but I also heard this rumor that smoking meth isn’t too healthy as well. Now where’s my grant money?
If they use the BMI approximation (tape test OR height/weight ratio), this article is falsely premised. If they use the immersion test, which differentiates lean mass, they may have something.
Yes, if you're a fatty you have a lot of health problems....
Or, if you have a lot of health problems, you are a fatty....
Lack of paragraph breaks has
been shown to provoke the
“Screw this, Move on” syndrome.
Several years ago during my annual physical...at least where I go, the 1st 2 things they do is check weight then blood pressure. I know just walking 30 to 40 feet will elevate a person’s BP. When the nurse checked mine I was somewhere around 138/88. During the physical, the Doc said I had pre-high blood pressure. I said...Doc, I have a pre amputated arm and I’m also I’m pre-dead. Man....he didn’t see any humor in my snappy comeback. :-)
Apparently The Waddler, Fat B@st@rd, is an exception to this rule.
.......this is clear evidence that he’s sold his soul to S@t@n in order to be a grotesque fat slob and still remain alive.
