Exactly. Elect a woman? Is she a Margaret Thatcher? Yes? I would readily cast a ballot for her or at least strongly consider her.

I once had a discussion with a liberal friend about Hillary Clinton, back when she was still First Lady or maybe senator. He declared he thought I just didn’t like strong women. I assured him I would be thrilled to vote for Maggie Thatcher, or maybe Golda Meir, or certainly Jeanne Kirkpatrick.
He sputtered and said, “Those aren’t women!”
That was when I fully realized, liberalism is the politics of denial.
