I want to invite all Christians to join me in this pursuit of greater purity of heart and mind. In our day, when entertainment media is virtually the lingua franca of the world, this is an invitation to be an alien.
I believe with all my heart that what the world needs is radically bold, sacrificially loving, God-besotted freaks — aliens. In other words, I am inviting you to say no to the world for the sake of the world.
The world does not need more cool, hip, culturally savvy, irrelevant copies of itself.
That is a hoax that thousands of young Christians have been duped by. They have got to be hip, cool, savvy, culturally aware, watching everything in order not to be freakish. And that is undoing them morally and, I think, diminishing their witness.
Sexual relations is a beautiful thing. God created it and pronounced it good. But it is not a spectator sport.

Fantasy doesn’t need sexual depravity to be good. They could have cut all that out and there would be no difference. So why is it there at all?
I don’t know as I haven’t watched Game of Thrones.....I had my hands full fast forwarding ‘Marko Polo’ scenes at a few places!...and I also learned not to like series watching so I don’t.
I do however like the idea I can control and choose what i want to watch .
I watched the first episode. It’s just wonderful for people who like gratuitous violence and meaningless sex.

I finally allowed myself to be talked into watching the most recent episode. Perhaps if I started at the beginning, I might develop an interest. This episode, that 1 billion people supposedly tuned in to watch, was a boring waste of time. It’s no wonder the producers must use sexual imagery to attract viewers.
If strangers walked into your house and started having sex in your living room, you’d probably toss them out on their ears. But we essentially let them come into our living rooms through our televisions.
Are you implying Christians cannot make that decision on their own?
