Not a lawyer, and I don’t even play one on TV, but I am pretty sure the protocol of addressing an attorney general as “general” has been in usage in the courtroom long before anyone ever heard of that TV show.

According to Sundance, those texts have been out for many months now, and are being resurrected at this moment to create a narrative that the FBI/DOJ investigation of whether the President was a Russian agent required extraordinary measures to verify/prove false. It is a deflection from the FBI/DOJ crime, which was to manufacture the narrative and the evidence that created the investigation in the first place, in early 2016 or earlier. The investigation’s creation was criminal, the steps taken in the transition and early administration were not the issue except for the frame job that came before. Don’t get sucked into the discussion about spying on the White House. Focus on the predicate, as Barr said.
