This Conversation Between A Passenger And An Airline Should Absolutely Terrify You

A conversation between a passenger and an airline has gone viral, largely because people find it intensely creepy.

MacKenzie Fegan went to the airport last week. As with normal flights, she was expecting at some point to present her boarding card in order to get on her plane. However, she found all she had to do was look at a camera, and at no point was asked for her pass.

As convenient as that sounds, she had questions, which she put to the airline, JetBlue, in a now-viral thread.

MacKenzie Fegan @mackenzief I just boarded an international @JetBlue flight. Instead of scanning my boarding pass or handing over my passport, I looked into a camera before being allowed down the jet bridge. Did facial recognition replace boarding passes, unbeknownst to me? Did I consent to this?

Yet asking for a simple ID to vote gets the snowflake left all fluffed up crying foul.

Wanna bet they are fine with this facial recognition and extra picture taking though? Their favorite thing to say is they have nothing to hide. They miss the point entirely.

I remember as recently as the 90’s that you had to hang onto your airline tickets for dear life for fear of losing them. Seems silly nowadays... You bought the ticket, the seat is accounted for, so why should you worry about a slip of paper or someone taking your seat?

When flying you’ve been tracked by your name, birthdate and more for a long time.

When driving you must carry government issued photo ID.

Voting? Not so much.

Entering the country illegally, why the uniparty welcomes you in and gives you bennies!
