This is from the 2005 movie, not the TV series. Mecum figures it at $50,000 anyways.

Yeah, well whoever buys it will have to remove the stars and bars from the roof or keep it secured someplace.

I’d have the frame inspected for cracks.

After buying it They should drive it around Charlottesville and ask where the statue of General Lee is.

Magnafluxed comes to mind, but it would be pricey and timely, but still, if it’s your baby...you’ll want it right!

I had a 1968 Charger when the Dukes of Hazzard was on the air. Other than the grille and taillights they were almost identical to the 69’s. When I was ready to have it repainted my Black friends would tell me to paint it orange and put a Confederate flag on the roof, with the Dixie playing horn. Snowflakes today think it’s racist because that’s what they were TOLD.

Coincidently, I saw a 1969 Charger R/T on a flat bed at the auto store just today. I looked at it closely. I had a 70 Charger SE

In 1970 they had the front bumper that surrounded the grille, like on full sized Chryslers. It was a nice look.

The article says it has an 83 CI engine. Perhaps this was a rice burner.

I read where they painted over the Confederate flag on the roof to be more politically correct. Ah, I’d still take it....

“5ft 7 ½ (171.5 cm) American actress best known for her role as Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard tv series. Consistantly mentioned 5ft 8, way back in TV Superstars 1981 it listed her 5ft 8 and weighing 112 lbs.”

Crush it up, such an impure icon with that hideous, bigoted, racist Confederate flag on its top. That kind of action will at least stop global warming just a tad.
