This is the first vanity I have ever posted on FR.
Today, while my wife and I were at the grocery, we got stuck behind an obvious Middle Eastern "immigrant."
He ran up a bill of over $400 in baby formula, cheese, and all sorts of other things. I could see the items being rung up as he was doing this. And then I watched him produce one WIC voucher after another to pay for all of this, and I watched the cashier zero out one item after another. This process took more than 20 minutes, and held up everyone else in line. He even started sending the checkout people to the back of the store to get more stuff for him so he could use up all the WIC vouchers. At the end everything had been zeroed out except for $9.73. Then he whips out his VISA card and pays for that on his credit card.
Why do we tolerate this? We just paid for all of this stuff for this guy, who obviously was not hurting for money. So does he re-sell it or what does he do?
Don’t forget that Muslim men probably have 4-8 wives, they all live together, each woman would get EBT card. See how it’s done.
They do not get MORE money based on what they buy. They CAN buy lobster, but they are not getting more for the rest of the week.

Maybe try reporting to the GAO. You could also report to your state’s health and rehabilitative services office since they play a large part in determining disability claims.

You have it absolutely right, but these people, as I’ve said countless times, are either evil, or ignorant, or both, and so it appears obvious they will not be silenced until confronted with life-threatening aggression.

Real hardship on the home front. Americans didn’t have the wealth or leisure time back then. It was mostly survival and life was not easy.

With that, they can created massive government debt, and steady inflation. With that, you can pay for 1000 different social engineering schemes
Formula and diapers are in big demand for use as resale items. My daughter has worked for years in grocery retail and sees such scamming on a daily basis. 4 to 500 dollars of such items, then the patron breaks out a credit card or wads of yankee dollars to pay for another easy several hundred.
No wonder illegals are gaming us to the tune of 60,000 annually per person per a recent study. That probably tops off another 60 grand in scams.
That debt will eventually cripple our children or grandchildren. Be happy!

We need to make sure those people are tracking our money wisely.
I think anyone buying lobster is a fool, so my opinion doesn’t much matter.
I didn’t imply that, and that isn’t the point that I take issue with.
I think perhaps we see it differently. I am old school on this. I think if people are accepting my money, they shouldn’t be able to spend it on anything they please, though I believe that is going to change and soon they will be able to use it to eat at restaurants and rent movies or whatever.
I believe that money WE work to GIVE them should be used for fundamental foodstuffs, not Cheetos and lobster.
