Lightning Crashes sounds boring. Rockabilly is not intellectual. It makes you want to move around-not the purpose here.
Music is rhythm and Melody. You want intellect? Read a book.
Like I said I like some of what was posted but it’s mostly pop not rock.
Some intellectual rock (not all their work is rock) Billy Joel(some good stuff), Springsteen (who I loathe), Dylan’s Rock phase (hey it’s Dylan!)
ELO and Emerson Lake etc. is what I call castrato music. (Even Elton had a more manly voice).
If it doesn’t make you move, it isn’t “rock”.
