Like I said I like some of what was posted but it’s mostly pop not rock.
Some intellectual rock (not all their work is rock) Billy Joel(some good stuff), Springsteen (who I loathe), Dylan’s Rock phase (hey it’s Dylan!)
ELO and Emerson Lake etc. is what I call castrato music. (Even Elton had a more manly voice).
Read a book? Compared to lyrics glorifying sex this rock I speak of is intellectual. Some folks just need a beat and don’t listed. Wonder what the Deadheads are doing these days. Probably went to work.
Greg Lake had a fairly deep and beautiful voice. Not a castrate or falsetto.
