In order to get corn to mature in our Zone I have to pre-sprout the seed for 3 or 4 days and then plant the seed in these styrofoam flats and cover with parchment paper until they are large enough to transplant to the garden…

I wish I had room for corn. We planted it a few years in a 6 x 12 square in the backyard. Enough to have for dinner once or twice. Nothing of any size though.

I just tuck plants in the perimeter of the yard. Just a few maters and squash and herbs.

I daydream about getting good enough to put up lots of food but we just don’t have the room.

I’ve always loved seeing the pictures you post. It’s beautiful up there where you are and your setup is great.
