I wonder what type of firearm is was? A pistol? Or a rifle? Only six rounds? Sounds like a bolt action rifle. If it was a Ruger Mark III or better, or a Remington/Marlin semi auto...he could have gotten off a lot more than six rounds in a short time. I can fire my Remington 66 or Marlin so fast they might as well be full auto.

We’ve got a pair of 10-22s with those Ruger factory 25 round magazines. That’ll wreck someone’s day.
