The iconic neon guitar that beckoned visitors to the Las Vegas Hard Rock Café for 27 years has found a new home and new life at the citys Neon Museum.
The 82-foot-tall sign, Inspired by Pete Townshends No. 9 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, was unplugged when the cafe, which sat adjacent to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Paradise Boulevard, closed in 2016.

If I go back to Las Vegas I want to see this museum. I’ve always been facinated with neon lights and have thought about building some, but the equipment for the gas was to expensive for playing around.

news to me but then I haven’t been in Vegas in over a decade and my friend who lived there isn’t living anywhere these days
We stayed at the Hard Rock Casino in Cancun when I was down there. Man it was great.
