Very emotional story!
So glad he was rescued!

Now if only liberals would show half the compassion they show for animals towards unborn babies - we might actually make this world “better”. They have other ideas however.

I saw this somewhere else on Monday. I thought it was a female dog? There was a picture of the “party”, and he/she looked SO HAPPY.

Thanks for sharing.

Street dogs, commonly soi dogs in Thailand, are ownerless, free-ranging dogs. These dogs are sometimes rounded up and sold as meat in Vietnam and China. It is estimated that there are about 8.5 million dogs in Thailand, of which about 730,000 are abandoned by their owners.

Hope this guy has long easy life from now on.

As an old diesel submarine sailor, I had many occasions when surfacing , out in the middle of the ocean, that birds would immediately crash land onto our decks, they were lost and exhausted. Unfortunately, you know what happened when we submerged.

Something similar happens near my home now:

Fallout: Dauphin Island Bird Sanctuary

"The name “Fall-out” is a term coined to describe the phenomenon that occurs during spring migration if the migrating birds encounter relentless weather over the Gulf, and are entirely depleted by landfall. They literally fall out of the sky. "

I have seen pictures in another article (sorry, don’t have the link) — after they gave him food and water and washed off all the saltwater, he looked much more comfortable.

Hope someone nice adopts him.

I am glad they saved the poor dog.

While it was far from shore, I think it’s most likely that it fell off a fishing vessel, rather than that it swam such distance from the shore.
