Video shows a hitman trying to kill a woman with a high-powered crossbow hidden inside a box.
The shocking surveillance video was released by Canadian police. It shows a man dressed as a delivery driver and holding a large package. But detectives say he was really a hitman and was ringing the home's doorbell to deliver a fatal attack.
Moments after, a woman answered the door, the two exchanged words and the man fired the crossbow.
Police say inside the cardboard box was a high-powered crossbow holding a razor-sharp big game arrow, designed to bring down and kill elk and moose.

High powered crossbow? Are we sure it wasn’t an “assault crossbow”. I’m surprised a democrat hasn’t proposed a ban or at least limiting “hi-capacity” arrow magazines to less than 10.
A more appropriate headline would be “Canadian police release video of hitman’s attempt to murder woman”

It is both funny in this case and sad that today’s Editors are so abysmally ignorant.
As everyone knows, most crossbows are low-powered with built-in safeguards preventing the user from pulling back the bowstring more than halfway. As the arrow is released, it follows a slow and graceful 5 foot arc before it lands on its rubber safety tip.

Pick a few paragraphs from an article. Read them.
Read them again, only this time, skip all the adjectives.
